The part 49895584 is a precision O-ring used in the pneumatic on/off (dump) valve assemblies of 60 000 psi (4 100 bar) and 90 000 psi (6 200 bar) waterjet Intensifier Pumps. It has an inner diameter of 0.080 in., an outer diameter of 0.200 in., and a cross-section of 0.060 in.
Specifications
Inner Diameter:0.080 in. (2.03 mm)
Outer Diameter:0.200 in. (5.08 mm)
Cross-Section:0.060 in. (1.52 mm)
Material:FKM fluoroelastomer
Weight:~0.008 lbs (3.6 g)
Operating Pressure:Up to 90 000 psi (6 200 bar)
Installation & Maintenance
Shutdown & Depressurize: Turn off the pump, isolate hydraulic and pneumatic supplies, and relieve all system pressure.
Remove Valve Assembly: Unscrew the pneumatic valve or actuator assembly from the intensifier manifold.
Extract Old O-Ring: Carefully remove the worn 49895584 seal using a pick or small screwdriver, avoiding damage to the valve stem.
Clean & Inspect: Wipe the groove and stem clean, inspect for wear or scoring.
Install New O-Ring: Lightly coat the new O-ring with hydraulic oil, seat it evenly in the groove, and reassemble.
Functional Test: Repressurize air supply (80–100 psi), actuate the valve to verify leak-free operation, then ramp to full hydraulic pressure.
