Abrasive Nozzle Suction Port Adaptor 20464024 Waterjet Pump Parts
Abrasive Nozzle Suction Port Adaptor 20464024 Waterjet Pump Parts
The part 20464024 is an OEM suction port adaptor (also called a “abrasive nozzle feed tube”) designed for IDE I/II abrasive diamond cutting heads on 60 000 psi (4 100 bar) waterjet systems. It features a ¾″-16 UNF left-hand thread and a 0.373 in. bore, providing a Sealed transition between the Mixing Chamber and the Nozzle Tube to prevent abrasive slurry leakage under high pressure.
Specifications
Pressure Rating:60 000 psi (4 100 bar)
Material:Stainless sTeel / hardened alloy per OEM standards
Finish:Precision machined, passivated corrosion resistance
Bore / ID:0.373 in. to match IDE nozzle shafts
Threading:¾″-16 UNF LH to secure into the mixing chamber body
Installation & Maintenance
Depressurize & Shutdown: Fully relieve hydraulic and abrasive supply pressure.
Head Removal: Detach the abrasive head assembly from the machine output.
Disassemble: Unscrew the old suction port adaptor from the mixing chamber using an appropriate LH-thread wrench.
Inspect: Check mixing chamber bore, O-Ring seats, and nozzle tube for wear or damage. Replace seals (e.g., 10074870 O-Ring) as needed .
Install New Adaptor: Thread the 20464024 part into the chamber until hand-tight, then torque to specification (typically 60 ft-lb) to ensure proper Sealing.
Reassemble & Test: Reinstall the nozzle tube and gland nut (VL20454351), bring up to low pressure for leak check, then ramp to full 60 000 psi and verify stable jet performance.
