How to correctly install the high-pressure seal for a Waterjet Cylinder?

Many customers ask us: Why does the intensifier leak water or lose pressure?

In most cases, the problem comes from the high-pressure seal.

Today we show you how to correctly install the blue HP seal inside the intensifier cylinder.

Step 1: Check the seal direction carefully.

The larger side must face upward.

Step 2: Apply proper lubricant to avoid dry friction during installation.

This helps protect both the seal and the plunger.

Step 3: Use the installation tool to press the seal slowly into position. Make sure it locks firmly in place.

Step 4: Confirm the seal is seated correctly and evenly.

Wrong installation can cause leakage, unstable pressure, and even cylinder damage.

A small seal affects the whole waterjet system.

Correct installation means longer service life and better cutting performance.
